Test of Trust

Wouldn't the greatest test of trust

be to let go of all

for once, to drop the ball

let everything fall

be quiet, still, and wait 

to know you are okay

Wouldn't the ultimate test of trust 

be to release everything

for once, step out of the ring

finally focus on BEing

be patient, calm, and wait 

to know you are worthy 

Wouldn't the biggest badass test of trust

be to say no

for once, say you won't go 

to no longer feel so low

be steady, grounded, and wait 

to know you are deserving 

So next time you try to do it all

to push yourself and make it all happen

know there is trust in the wait

that tests aren't just for school

and when you test trust

it's results are always true
